Book Illustration Work

A few examples of book illustration projects.

Animation Odds and Ends

An episode from the TVO show Time Trackers, that tells the story of things that were invented by Native Americans. Here's the story of the canoe. I designed everything and animated it. This is copyrighted to TVOntario.

This is just some test animation with a character I created: Al

Here is a part of a movie title sequence I designed and animated for a short film called Brian vs. the Cat

Blast from the Past

Here's an example of my early animation from the year 2000. A brutal one minute classical animation, from the time of pencil on paper at Sheridan College. I had some ambitions larger than what I could accomplish in the short time prescribed for this, but it's amusing to look back 10 years.

Al's Adventures

This is a project I have been developing for about 5 years with partners Jackie English and Kiran Sachdev. My contribution is everything visual: concept art, design characters, some storyboards and artistic direction. Our original project was a short interactive animation that explained Einstein's theory of relativity to the lay-person. Check it out here: www.onestick.com/relativity You can even get a diploma at the end!

After that, we have been trying to develop an animated series. Several demos/pilots followed but we are still looking for funding to get this to air.

Here are some working design images.

I'm a Toronto based commercial illustrator and animator. I am actively looking for freelance work. This is to serve as a visual intro to my current and recent work.
